Inside Nick Cannon’s Wide-Ranging Real Estate Portfolio

Nick Cannon is arguably one of the hardest-working celebrities in the game. In addition to hosting highly successful shows like The Masked Singer and Wild ‘N Out, as well as the new Celebrity Prank Wars, he also records his podcast, The Daily Cannon, live for three hours every morning. On top of that, Cannon is the father of 12 children, many of whom are less than one year old. According to the Los Angeles Times, Cannon has a nursery in his office building, “a neon-lit room with tumbling mats, a ball pit, and toy instruments.” With so much going on in his life, it makes sense that Cannon has dedicated much of his fortune to real estate in order to maximize comfort for himself and his loved ones. Below, we’re sharing a peek into Cannon’s enviable real estate portfolio.

Following the success of his breakout movie role in Drumline, Cannon bought homes for his parents and his grandparents. (He later remodeled his grandparents’ Temecula, California, home for an E! special in 2013.) He also picked up a $421,000 home for himself in Chula Vista, a city just outside of San Diego, where he grew up. The two-story new build measured 2,173 square feet, with five bedrooms and three bathrooms all decked out in a neutral palette. A set of sliding glass doors opened onto a sizable concrete patio and lawn, with unobstructed views of the surrounding mountains. Cannon held onto the home for quite a while before selling it for $603,500 in 2019.
2009
In 2008, Cannon wed singer Mariah Carey. The pair snapped up a Bel Air mansion for $6.975 million one year later. Fun fact: The dwelling previously belonged to Charlie’s Angels star Farrah Fawcett, who owned it for more than 20 years. The traditional-style main house measured 11,750 square feet, with high ceilings, wood floors, and French doors throughout. The residence also boasted seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, six fireplaces (one of which was in the kitchen), a home theater, a gym, and a basketball court. Perhaps the biggest amenity was the Aspen Room, an entertaining hall with a massive stone fireplace, vaulted beamed ceilings, and enough room to host several hundred guests. The pair listed the home not long after they called it quits, selling it for an even $9 million in 2015.
