👏 London celebrates its first female chartered surveyor.

An English Heritage blue plaque has been raised in honour of the remarkable Irene Barclay, chartered surveyor and housing reformer, the first woman to qualify in Britain.

Her plaque is located at St Martin’s House, Camden, where she worked in social housing, dedicated to supporting communities with kindness and compassion.

Thank you, Irene.
