Updated images of London’s 70 Gracechurch Street skyscraper have emerged as part of the planning consultation process. Designed by @kohnpedersenfox (KPF), the 33-storey tower was originally set to replace an existing building on the site. The project will now retrofit and reclad that structure and see the new tower rise above it.

Planning approval was granted for the original KPF-designed scheme more than three years ago, but developer Tenacity later sold the site to Stanhope and the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan who asked KPF to revise their designs after further public consultation.

If approved, construction works could start in 2028 and complete in 2032.
