New Director-General appointed for QLD TMR

Sally Stannard has been announced as the new Director-General of the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR).

Sally Stannard has been announced as the new Director-General of the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR).

Stannard was most recently the Acting Director-General for the Department of Transport and Main Roads and has worked in senior roles in the transport sector for over 16 years. She also spent time working as a senior executive in the TransLink Transit Authority, including leading the TransLink Division.

Stannard holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies. She said she was humbled by the appointment.
