We were honoured to have Her Excellency Miss Pimphattra Wichaikul, Minister of Industry (MoI), Government of #Thailand officially open our CEO and Leaders Gathering in Bangkok. The minister kicked formally kicked off proceedings alongside a major announcement from UNIDO – United Nations Industrial Development Organization and the Government of Canada who unveiled a $multi-million package of investment, technical and other support, to help Thailand accelerate decarbonisation o…f its own cement industry. Her Excellency said: “The irreplaceable nature of the cement and #concrete industry to Thailand and the world is clear – providing modern infrastructure, as well as our homes, hospitals, offices and so much more. Thailand is one of the first countries in the word with a credible national roadmap for delivering on the cement industry’s #NetZero commitments.
