Hanoi is about to get a new 108-storey supertall skyscraper. Designed by @skidmoreowingsmerrill (SOM), the Smart City Financial Tower will become the tallest building in Vietnam when it tops out.
BRG Group and Sumitomo Corporation, working with a committee of Vietnamese and international experts in construction, urban planning, and architecture, selected tall building experts SOM to design the mixed-use skyscraper and surrounding public park.
The development is part of the fifth phase in a new, 300-hectare neighborhood sited between downtown Hanoi and Noi Bai International Airport that aims to serve as a model for future urbanism.
