Refer a Friend

Subject to the conditions outlined below, BuildMyTalent may offer a referral reward for introducing a contact (referee) to a specified vacancy for the following introductions:

1. Introduction of a suitable candidate. A suitable candidate will be defined as a candidate who commences employment in the specified role.

2. Introduction of a suitable applicant. In some cases a reward may be offered for a specified number of applications from suitable applicants without the requirement to commence employment. A suitable applicant will be defined as an applicant whose application is considered suitable and is submitted by BuildMyTalent to the hiring company.

Procedure

You must let us know the referee’s name via email.

The referee must then create an account with BuildMyTalent and apply to the role. Under ‘how did you hear of us’ they must select ‘referred’. They must apply for the specific role for which they have been referred.

Payment of the referral fee will be made only if and after BuildMyTalent’s corresponding invoice to the hiring company has been paid in full.

Terms & Conditions

To qualify for a reward the referee must be new to BuildMyTalent and not have an existing account on the BuildMyTalent database. They must have the right to work necessary for the job. They must have applied to the role in good faith with genuine intent to complete the application process and to gain and accept the role. A suitable candidate’s employment in the role must commence within three months of the referral being made.

The BuildMyTalent Refer a Friend scheme is limited to referrals of personal contacts. By referring any person under this scheme you warrant and confirm that the referral does not breach any duty you (or any third party) may owe to any other person or organisation, either through contract or expectation. This includes but is not limited to:

a. public function or duty;

b. interests of a business, trade or profession;

c. obligations falling under a person’s employment (including yours) 2. You warrant and confirm that the referee agrees to the BuildMyTalent Privacy Policy and you warrant and confirm that you have the explicit permission of the Friend to submit their details for this referral.

3. You agree to refund any reward where you are found to be in breach of these terms.

BuildMyTalent shall not be liable for any matters arising out of or in connection with this Agreement; or any loss of or damage to profit, revenue, savings, data, use, contract, goodwill or business; or any indirect or consequential loss or damage. This includes but is not limited to misrepresentation, breach of statutory duty, negligence, tort, breach of GDPR, breach of antibribery regulations, breach of contract, tax liability, restitution or otherwise. Nothing in this Agreement shall limit or exclude any party’s liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by the negligence, or to the extent otherwise not permitted by law.

This scheme is not open to BuildMyTalent employees or their family members.
